A pleasant trip down the North Shore of the Loch to the village of Drumnadrochit, where we visit the fascinating Loch Ness 2000 exhibition. The comprehensive information presented will help you decide for yourself whether or not the Monster exists. From here we go on to the historic ruins of Urquhart Castle (the best known spot for Monster hunting) before returning to Inverness.

Tour to this splendid fourteenth century castle, made famous by William Shakespeare in his play, Macbeth. Many interesting rooms to be seen, including the kitchen with its fresh water well. Plenty of time is allocated for exploring both sides of the Castle and the beautiful gardens by which it is surrounded.

Our most popular tour taking route round the Loch. On the way we visit the Monster Exhibition, Urquhart Castle, and the beautiful village of Fort Augustus, situated at the opposite end of the Loch. Travelling high above the south shore on our return we encounter breathtaking scenery and take the opportunity to visit the spectacular Falls of Foyers. Make sure there is plenty of film in your camera before the beginning of this tour. Picture is of Caledonian Canal, Fort Augustus.

This tour takes us on the Great North Road. We travel north over the Struie stopping at the spectacular view overlooking the Dornoch Firth. Then it is on to Dunrobin Castle, the chieftain home of the Clan Sutherland.

The Tomatin Distillery lies just 16 miles south of Inverness on the main A9 trunk route. The Tomatin name is derived from a Gaelic word meaning “the hill of the Juniper bushes.” Today, visitors are welcome to view the Distillery where a special Visitors’ Centre offers a full range of Tomatin products and a unique insight into the Distillery’s traditional working methods, its history and its importance within the world of Scotch Whisky.

A circular tour with the highlight being the famous Glenfiddich Distillery. An interesting drive down the east coast passing the seaside town of Nairn, floral award winning Forres, then inland to Dufftown and Glenfiddich, where under the watchful eye of William Grant, distilling first took place in 1887 and has been going on ever since. You’ll be shown the complete process of whisky distilling and a complementary dram will be on offer to complete the tour. A drive home via the hills of Cromdale and Grantown-on-Spey makes this an ever popular tour.

A truly grand tour through some of the most beautiful countryside in Europe, stopping first at the Old World village of Strathpeffer before moving on through the rugged grandeur of the west to the shores of the awe-inspiring Loch Maree. We visit the heritage museum at Gairloch before moving to lnverewe where we visit the beautiful and world-famous Botanic Gardens. On now through the spectacular Corrieshalloch Gorge stopping at the Falls of Messiach, then on to the charming fishing village of Ullapool, before returning to Inverness.

On this tour we head down the Great Glen (Loch Ness) stopping at the Monster Museum, Urquhart Castle and the River Moriston, before heading due west to Kyle, passing Eilean Donan Castle. We cross the bridge to Skye where we visit the only distillery on Skye, Talisker. We view the majestic Cuillin Mountains before heading to the romantic and historic Dunvegan Castle, home of the chiefs of Macleod for nearly 800 years.

We cross the Kessock Bridge and enjoy a leisurely drive round the perimeter of the Black Isle, first stopping at “Black Isle Country Park”, make friends with the rare breeds of goats, pigs, sheep and cattle, feed the ducks, geese and swans on the many ponds. Then on to Fortrose and visit its ancient Cathedral; then visit Hugh Miller’s Cottage at Cromarty. This is a tour for those who appreciate the magnificent views and the charms of highland villages.

We first visit Moniack Wineries (the only winery in Scotland for free wine tasting). Then follow the winding road till we reach the splendid scenery offered by Glen Affric and Loch Benevean. We return through Glen Urquhart and the north shore of Loch Ness. Tour includes visit to the Deer Farm, Cluanie.

Tour to the scene of the last battle fought on British Soil (1746). We visit the fascinating Exhibition Centre, thatched cottage museum, and the clan graves, before moving on to the chambered cairns, and Standing Stones at Clava, which date back to the third and fourth millennium.
